Description
This article describes a hotfix that adds support for Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 in Windows. This device is not installed using the Intel Chipset Driver software or Intel Management Interface (MEI).
Hotfix Details
The Windows TPM 2.0 driver polls the registers in the control area until they indicate the TPM 2.0 is ready. When using Windows 7, the Unknown Devices in Device Manager can show multiple errors.
