The 2024 NFL Draft is shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable in recent memory. With no clear-cut consensus at the top of the class, there are a number of teams that could be in play for a quarterback with their first pick.
In our latest mock draft, we have five quarterbacks going in the first round, including two in the top five. The Carolina Panthers trade up to No. 2 to select Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud, while the Indianapolis Colts take Alabama quarterback Bryce Young at No. 4.
The Chicago Bears, Houston Texans, and Tennessee Titans also all select quarterbacks in the first round, giving us a total of five signal-callers going in the top 10. This would be the most quarterbacks taken in the first round since 2018, when five quarterbacks were selected in the top 12.
