Edmonton Oilers Take 3-2 Series Lead Over Dallas Stars
Oilers Fan Gets Carried Away
Oilers One Win Away from Stanley Cup Finals
The Edmonton Oilers took a 3-2 series lead over the Dallas Stars the other night after a big win. One Oilers fan got carried away in their excitement and ended up getting arrested.
The fan, who has not been identified, was seen running onto the ice after the game and attempting to hug Oilers captain Connor McDavid. Security quickly intervened and escorted the fan off the ice.
The fan was arrested and charged with trespassing. He was later released on bail.
The Oilers are now just one win away from securing their spot in the Stanley Cup Finals. They will host the Stars in Game 6 on Saturday night.
If the Oilers win, they will advance to the Finals for the first time since 2006. The Stars will be looking to force a Game 7 with a win in Edmonton.
